Five Lamps Business Advisor, Simon Coe worked with Joanna through the DWPs New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) contract. The support included help and support to write her business plan and make her self-employment plans a reality.

After Joanna’s hard work and dedication, she was able to open her dog grooming business in February 2019. Since opening, the business has been thriving. There are a number of new customers visiting the business each week and her exceptional service has meant customers have booked in for returning visits.

Joanna said;

“Five lamps have helped me from day one with how to go about starting and running a business.  The courses and advice they gave me helped me on my way and now I have successfully started my own business.”
